Full Moon in Scorpio
Think of the Scorpios you know, the knowledge of the creature you might have, the images that come to mind and apply those traits to the ether of the world. The moon will be bursting with emotional energy and dark fantasies will have a glow about them that predators will easily sniff out.
Playing with scorpions means you should know what kind, how they act, that you’re never in control, that if they do bite or sting how one should respond and if you are in the proximity of anti-venom? Perhaps one shouldn’t be playing with scorpions at all.
My mixed emotions of course come from my dad, who is the only real Scorpio influence in my life. He’s a hard-working man that is good at everything he does. He can weld, carve, cook, hunt, play the harmonica and has always been a loving father and dear friend; though he doesn’t say much about himself. He can tell you long-winded stories to keep you enthralled and spread his charm but after hours of conversation and good drinks, you’ll go away not ever knowing much about my dad personally. He is subtle in his trust, he is quiet in his secrets, he moves like a hobbit and always knows how to fix things, even if the world is falling apart. He is strong.
Scorpios are all of these things. The Full Moon, the light upon our deepest influences and darkest thoughts, with the frequency of the scorpion, might lead us to having ‘life/death’ type adrenaline-pumping scenarios. To put it into perspective, I meditated on what could possibly be sneaking up on me - a hurtful, looming threat like a possible scorpion in my morning shoe, and the only thought - our car brakes. I can tell you that if I was out driving, a mile from home on the Full Moon, I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if the rotors came crunching off the back brakes. Knowing this present and looming threat, I’m not going to drive that day. Period.
I don’t play with scorpions - I keep them in a cage, under glass, with a cool name. Malebolgia was my Emperor scorpion in high school and though I can handle them, I don’t unless I have to.
To all of those in my GYPSY TRIBE, they understand the pending rituals and vibrations to be expected, but for those not aware, look out.
