Intense beginnings
The New Moon on the 15th occurs in the water sign of Scorpio, encouraging us to move out of our comfort zone and to welcome new ways to live, heal, and transform. It’s a time for taking a good look at what we may have chosen to sweep under the carpet. Taking the time to understand others’ motives can enrich our feelings of intimacy, forgiveness, and a sense of meaning. Understand that the scorpion does not forget, but forgiveness can heal you of any self-destructive pain and venom. We might want to use this cycle to focus on and develop one special project or relationship in order to help add purposefulness and depth to our lives. Intimate relationships need a brand-new approach, and we can see this more clearly now. With Mercury (in Scorpio) and Mars (in Aries) now direct, a new start feels right. We will feel motivated and clear as each day passes.
Jupiter forms a quintile to Chiron on the 15th tomorrow for the third and final perfection. This transit first formed in March (remember the start of COVID?) and recurred in June (the re-open), following roughly alongside the Jupiter-Pluto conjunction and Jupiter-Neptune sextile. It has helped open our minds to others’ struggles and supported explaining our perspective to others. We’re more willing to learn and grow through our experiences. Both Jupiter and Chiron are good for seeing the whole of a situation, making holistic problem-solving particularly rewarding and successful as these bodies connect through a creative aspect. We’re absorbing and sharing what we’ve learned from past experiences and mistakes. This is the perfect time to use the ARIES Fire energy to direct our focus on what matters most, and to be humbled at how far and how much we’ve overcome this year; it’s quite amazing.
This is a great time to do rituals for Water cleansing: Baths, Salts, shower melts, drinking more water, detoxing the emotions that are built up in your heart and mind and flush the body clean of all the lingering sludge. Journal, cry, catharsis…
