Shadow Work: Prompt for the Gypsy Tribe
I have a lot of people who ask to join the GYPSY TRIBE with intentions of only learning black magic, dark magic, chaos magick or other forms of ‘evil’ intentions… which is simply not the way the Universe is going to work. I cannot teach just that because one does not USE just that, or LEARN just that. Those in my Gypsy Tribe, know I work with alchemy and science to understand the Universe and the flow of energy is important, moderation is key and open-minds are not going to work in one direction. So, black magic comes naturally to those who learn magic as a whole. The light shows us the darkness and vice versa.
With that suggestion, shadow work is the area of detail that highlights the EVIL connotations of ‘black magic’. Black Magic is of course a reference to the color of YIN or assumed (-) energy on the spectrum and it’s religious connotation to demonic. The introspection unguided can lead to dark spaces indeed. However, when taken into account the strong mind, healthy heart and pure intentions of someone wanting to learn and grow, shadow work (therapy) and discussion of vulnerable topics with those we trust in a safe space is where the hurt becomes healing.
Trauma leads to empathy - like it or not - and we have to use that experience to grow our minds and connection to help others. We don’t have a choice but simply to learn this is how energy works and that to find purpose, happiness, peace, and positive flow - we must apply it to others. Love is self-serving upon giving to others for their retrieval; our human gift.
Go with that flow by cleaning out the dark intentions of your heart. This time of year calls for GRIEF:
